They are one of the most trusted brands and this is their comprehensive gravity water filter they have. Theres no rust found in any other parts of it than the lid. This includes the wire stand and a doulton filter.

Please see photos for reference. The system was lightly used for a couple years mainly by myself alone. I researched my filters and this is one of the only gravity that out a lot fluoride. You can research for yourself about doulton and their water filters.

The main wear item is on the lid, probably from condensation causing light rust, but this won't come anywhere close to filtered water and you can use a new pot lid of some kind.
