One of the standout features of this water filter monitor is its built-in electronic monitor. This monitor displays the filter's lifespan in gallons, ensuring you replace the filter at the right time for optimal performance. You can replace the batteries as needed. It worked better, so I am including a length of Velcro you can do the same. When the aquaperform is installed with a capacity monitor, DI low 5000v capacity monitor MC993 flashes red when filter should be changed. Originally this unit came with some adhesive Velcro.
The capacity monitor consists of two main parts, the led display plate that sits below faucet, and filter monitor unit fum that connects in-line between drinking water system housing faucet. Note there is no battery acid in the compartment. Rather than sticking the Velcro on our cabinet, I wrapped some removable straps around drain pipe under sink. Used with Multipure aquaperform or aquaversa filter systems, this flow monitor provides a green/yellow/red led indicator for when the water should be changed.
Cut the Velcro to length as needed. We did not install the led display portion on counter top, but rather installed it beneath sink, screwed inside cabinet with a wood screw and some washers included this listing. We included the AAA batteries with unit.
